Dolce & Gabbana Intense Khol Eye Crayon- Review

I just bought the Dolce & Gabbana Intense Khol Eye Crayon in True Black after reading the review from Huda Kattans beauty blog (Huda Beauty). I always trust her reviews on products that is why I went ahead and purchased this in spite of having a really bad experience with Dolce & Gabbana’s eye pencils that I bought before from an old collection.

The eye pencils from the old collection were not at all smooth when applying and really tugged at the eyelids. It felt like such a chore using them.

However the new khol I bought really took me by surprise. It applied beautifully without tugging and it did not smudge even after about 8 hours of wear which is superb. I tried it both on my waterline and on the eyelid and if you like dark black eye khols then this is perfect.

This costs Dhs 100 and is available in four other colors- True White, Peacock, Chocolate and Dahlia. I strongly recommend trying these khols.

Which other color do you think I should try?

(Dolce & Gabbana makeup is available only in Paris Gallery, Dubai Mall)

My Favorite Product of the Month March

My favorite product of the month is Lancome Visionnaire and I just couldn’t wait to tell you guys how great and amazing this serum is. I started using it around end of December so it has been a little over 3 months and I love it.

It is light, non-greasy and seeps easily into the skin. Ever since I started using it under my moisturizer, I have noticed my skin has greatly improved. I used to be prone to occasional breakouts or red spots but my skin has been behaving itself and looking amazing, with a healthy glow.

I have just bought my second bottle of this. It comes in 2 sizes. The only drawback is that it’s quite pricey. The larger size is a little above Dhs 500.

Have any of you tried this?

Nays Face of the Day- Dolce & Gabbana Eyeshadow

I recently bought the new eyeshadow quad from Dolce & Gabbana’s Bouquet Collection. The colors are just so pretty that I couldn’t resist. Most of the eyeshadows I own are neutrals and brown (which are more wearable). I was dying to get my hands on some colored eyeshadows which are more suitable for summer and which would go with my new colored jeans.

The colors on this quad are amazing, especially the green. It is shimmery and so wearable and looks beautiful with either the purple or the blue eyeshadow that comes with it. Today I wore it with the blue eyeshadow. What do you think of the makeup? I must say even my brother (who does not notice these things) commented on how nice my makeup looks today so that really made my day haha.

P.S. I bought something else from Dolce & Gabbana which I am in love with, review coming soon;)

Product Review- Benefit The Sun Beam

About a month ago, I bought Benefit’s The Sun Beam. I went into Sephora to get a primer from Benefit, and the SA just made me try out this highlighter. I am such a sucker for highlighters so I just had to buy this. I have used it quite a few times and so far, I love it.

I love its golden brown color which matches the skin perfectly, and I also love the subtle shimmer in it. It gives the cheekbones a gorgeous and healthy glow. It can also be applied under the brows. The packaging is also super cute and it is so easy to apply. I usually apply it directly on the cheekbones then blend it with my fingers which works perfectly.

Have any of you tried this? What do you think?

Hope you can see the glow
