Bloomingdale’s Haul

Hi my lovely friends. Hope you are enjoying the holidays and looking forward to 2013.

So my sister is in Dubai, which only means one thing- Shopping!!! We always make sure to visit our favorite store in The Dubai Mall- Bloomingdale’s to stock up on our skincare and makeup.

Lancome Visionnaire is a repurchase. We have heard that it is best to use it along with the Genifique serum so I bought both.

The Clarins Multi-Active Jour is also a repurchase. I love the gel like consistency of this which is perfect for my combination skin. It is also an early wrinkle corrector which is a major plus point.

I also decided to buy the Clarins Ever  Matte Shine Control Mineral Powder Compact which is light and does not make the skin look cakey even after touch ups.

We also bought an amazing eyebrow pencil (not pictured below), which I will tell you all about in a separate post.

Do any of you use any of these products? What do you think about them?

Amazing skincare line that I love!

Hi friends. I know it has been forever since my last post but I am trying to take it easy these last few weeks. I took sometime off work and I am just home taking some much needed rest.

In my last post, I told you all about the amazing body oil that I was using from Omorovicza  (

For the past few weeks, I have also started using their Gentle Buffing Cleanser and Balancing Moisturiser. I must say these 2 products have blown my mind away. My skin has become more even toned and sooooo soft and smooth. I can literally go out with no stitch of makeup (not even powder) and my skin looks amazing.

I love the cleanser because it has really tiny particles that gently scrub the skin. It is not harsh at all because I use it both morning and night and it has definitely not dried my skin up. I also use the moisturiser in the morning and at night. The moisturiser does not contain SPF so I always make sure I apply SPF in addition to it in the mornings.

I can’t recommend these products enough and I am definitely looking forward to trying more products from Omorovicza. They can be bought online from

Have you tried any products from Omorovicza?

Favorite Product of the month- November

Hi everyone, I am back with my favorite product for November.

A few months ago I stumbled upon a skincare brand called Omorovicza which is a natural, anti-aging skincare range from Budapest.

After doing my research and finding out that their products have won quite a few beauty awards, I decided to order a few things from their website. One product that I am really enjoying using is their Firming Body Oil, which ‘tones and improves elasticity’. It also claims to ‘reduce the appearance of stretch marks’ which is great. I don’t have any stretch marks at the moment, but I am hoping that regular use of this oil will prevent any from appearing.

This oil smells sooo divine that I can’t help smelling my hands after using it. It also leaves my skin sooo soft, smooth and silky. It contains the following:

  • Plum almond oil restores suppleness, elasticity and tone.
  • Apricot kernel oil, rich in vitamin A, softens the skin.
  • Rice germ oil supplies essential nutrients to the skin.
  • Calendula oil heals and repairs the skin.
  • Tocopherol, or vitamin E, boosts the production of collagen and provides anti-oxidant defence against free radicals.
  • Essential oils of sage, chamomile, rosemaryand rose geranium balance and soothe.

If you are looking for a luxurious treat for your body, then this is it. It costs $75. They also sell the same body oil but which contains some gold shimmer particles in it, which is perfect to use for a night out.

I really LOVE this product, and I will definitely repurchase once I finish my bottle. The only drawback about it is the packaging. I wish it had a pump to dispense the oil, rather than the open top which makes it difficult to control how much  of the oil you use.

I also bought the face cleanser and moisturizer which I can’t wait to start using. Have any of you tried any of the products from Omorovicza?
